When this lovely bride-to-be came to me, we discussed a few ideas, images she liked, and the type of feel of shoot we wanted to create for her bridal boudoir session. She said that she liked natural, really soft feminine images, and that was the way her partner liked her too. And in particular, they both had a love for the beach; it was where their relationship began. So I gently suggested that perhaps we might do the boudoir shoot on the beach. It would take a lot of bravery, both with it being outside and the weather, but we could get just the right feel to for the boudoir images and create the perfect present to be given to her husband-to-be the night before their wedding. She nervously agreed, and on the day of the shoot, we started in the studio with hair and make-up being styled by the talented Lucy Milton, while she sipped champagne and nibbled on cupcakes and strawberries. By the time we got to the beach she was flirting with the surf and flowing with a beautiful self confidence.
